Cleaning the motorcycle
To preserve the finish of metal and paintwork,
wash and clean your motorcycle at regular intervals,
anyway according to road conditions. Use specific
products only. Prefer biodegradable products. Avoid
aggressive detergents or solvents.
Use only water and neutral soap to clean the
Plexiglas and the seat.
Periodically clean by hand all aluminium
components. Use special detergents, suitable for
aluminium Do NOT use abrasive detergents or
caustic soda.
Note
Do not use sponges with abrasive or steel
wool: only use cloths.

When the motorcycle is still hot, water drops will
evaporate faster and spot hot
Never clean the motorcycle using hot or high-
pressure water jets.
Cleaning the motorcycle with a high pressure water
jet may lead to seizure or serious faults in forks,
wheel hubs, electric system, headlight (fogging),
fork seals, air inlets or exhaust silencers, with
consequent loss of compliance with the safety
requirements.
Clean stubborn or exceeding grease from
engine using a degreasing agent. Be sure to
avoid contact with drive (chain, sprockets, etc.).
Rinse with warm water and dry all with
chamois leather.
Braking may be impaired
immediately washing the motorcycle. Never
grease or lubricate the brake discs to avoid losing
braking power. Clean the discs with an oil-free
solvent.
