What to do if my Duplex Standard is not picking up dirt?
    • C
      Charles JohnsonJul 27, 2025
If the Duplex Other is not picking up dirt, ensure the Mop-Up device is turned on. Also, check the recovery tank for dirty or worn scrapers and clean or replace them. Worn brushes should be replaced. If cleaning liquid isn't coming out, inspect the valve and adjust the screw under the handle lever. Finally, ensure the recovery tank is correctly seated in its housing.

What to do if my Duplex Standard Other does not start up?
    • P
      Pamela GrahamJul 31, 2025
If your Duplex Other does not start up, first check the power cord and ensure it's correctly inserted into the socket; restore or replace it if faulty. If the power cord tripped, replace it. If the 'Motor Protector' tripped, reset the appliance and reactivate it by pressing the MP button for about 6 seconds. Also, ensure the brush pressure regulator is in the correct position. For a faulty motor, contact the Manufacturer. If the voltage is too low, contact the mains provider. Finally, replace the start-up capacitor if it's tripped or short-circuited.

Why does my Duplex Standard leave wet stripes on the sides?
    • C
      Charles HernandezAug 5, 2025
If you notice wet stripes on the sides while using the Duplex Other, it could be due to several reasons. You might be dispensing too much liquid, so try dispensing less. Ensure you are following the correct washing paths as described in chapter “6.4 How to wash floors.” Check that the Rest Traslation switch is in the correct position, not the transport position. Lastly, inspect the recovery tank scrapers; if they are dirty or worn, clean or replace them.

    • B
      Brian HayesAug 9, 2025
If your Duplex Other is producing vibrations during operation, it may be due to dirty or deformed brushes. Try cleaning or replacing the brushes.

How to stop liquid flowing continuously from my Duplex Standard?
    • R
      Ronald CookAug 13, 2025
If liquid flows continuously from the Duplex Other, the feelers may not have returned to their position, preventing the tanks from being removed and keeping the valves open. To resolve this, pull the lever on the handle several times to facilitate unblocking. Alternatively, insert a screwdriver or a piece of wood into the tank opening and press on the rubber valve to push the feelers backwards.

What to do if my Duplex Standard leaks even when the feelers are retracted?
    • J
      jmurphyAug 17, 2025
If liquid continues to flow from your Duplex Other even after the feelers have been retracted, the valves in one of the tanks might be blocked. Try pressing the valves several times to unblock them. Alternatively, a foreign object may be caught in the valve seat; rinse each tank vigorously while keeping the external button that opens the valve pressed down.

Why doesn't the steam generator in my Duplex Standard Other produce steam?
    • J
      Javier MeyersAug 22, 2025
If the steam generator in your Duplex Other isn't producing steam, first check if there's water in the water tank with the filter and fill it if necessary. If the tank is full, the pump may be faulty and require replacement. Another possibility is that the steam nozzles are clogged with limescale, in which case you should descale them.
