When a Document Jam Has Occurred
J06 SLOT2 AREA
Press the JOG (forward/backward) key to eject the
document.
IMPORTANT
Close the
top cover
when operating the machine. The machine does not work when
the
top cover
is open.

A document jam has occurred in slot 2.
Press the
elevator down switch
to lower the feed
tray to the bottommost position.
Press the STOP key to clear the error.
The machine is reset and the error message is
cleared.
If you cannot remove the jammed document in the
procedure above, follow the procedure below.
Open the
top cover
.
Loosen the two
fi xing screws
on the module in
slot 2
.
Grasp the handles to take out the
module
by lifting it
up.
