● Do not place the machine in a humid or a dusty area.
→ Doing so may result in fi re or electric shock.
CAUTION
● Before moving the machine, remove the power plug from the outlet.
→ If the power cord is damaged, this may result in fi re or electric shock.
● Do not place the machine in an unstable position such as on an unsteady fl oor or
a sloping area.
→ If the machine drops or falls over, it may result in injury.
● Avoid placing the machine in a place subject to direct sunlight or heating
equipment such as a stove.

Avoid placing the machine in a place subject to high or low temperature or high
humidity.
→ The document absorbs moisture and it may cause document jams or wrinkles.
● Leave the power cord unplugged when the machine is not used for a long period.
→ The insulation may deteriorate and cause electrical fi re.
WARNING
● Do not expose your eyes to the laser radiation either directly (i.e., after refl ection
from a mirror or a shiny surface).
Loss of sight may possibly occur in case of the exposure to laser high power
density.
Caution - Use of controls or adjustments or performance of procedures other than
those specifi ed herein may result in hazardous radiation exposure.
● Do not disassemble the product.
Doing so may cause the laser beam to leak, resulting in the danger of visual
impairment.
● This laser Product is classified as Class 1 laser devices under IEC 60825-1 Ed.2
(2007) and the regulations of Laser Notice No. 50 for this certification.
● This laser Product complies with 21 CFR 1040.10 and 1040.11. except for
