Warning ! When working on the battery do
not use open fire, do not smoke! Do not let
skin or clothes come in contact with acid!
Do not lay any tools on the battery! Re-
move the plugs before starting to charge
the battery to avoid the accumulation of
highly explosive gases.
Dispose of batteries environmentally.
1. Clean the battery poles and clamps and cover them
with acid free grease (Vaseline).
2. Tighten the terminal clamps.
3. Check the battery bracket, fastening.
Check that the battery terminals
are clean and tight
Ensure that the engine spacer bolts are properly
tightened.
