Unlike the Modify Button menu, the Modify Pages menu cannot be used to change the content of an
individual button. Instead, this menu can be used to customize the appearance and function of one or
more pages. The Modify Pages menu offers the following options:
Message Window - Use the Message Window pull-down menu to add or delete the Message
Window. The Message Window check box in the Modify Pages menu will be automatically selected
if you make a change to the setting of this pull-down menu.
Button Font - Select the Select Font button to access the Select Font menu. This menu has tools
for choosing a font, font size and font style (bold and/or italic) for the button labels. When a new
setting is chosen in the Select Font menu, the Button Font check box will be automatically
selected in the Modify Pages menu.
Button Color - Select the Button Color button to open the Color Selector menu and select a new
color for all the buttons on the selected pages. The Button Color button will always display the
color that is currently selected. When a new setting is chosen in the Color Selector menu, the
Button Color check box will be automatically selected in the Modify Pages menu.
Background - Use the Background pull-down menu to change the type of background that is used
for the selected pages. You may select one of several background types: Solid Color, Centered
Image, Scaled Image, Tiled Image or Best Fit Image. If you are using a solid color background, use
the Color button (to the right of the Background pull-down menu) to open the Color Selector
menu and select a new color for the page backgrounds. The Color button will always display the
color that is currently selected. If you are using an image as a page background, select the Image
button to access the Select a Picture File menu with tools for choosing a picture file. If you
create a new setting with any of these tools, the Background check box in the Modify Pages menu
will be automatically selected.
Autofit Buttons - Select the Autofit Buttons check box if you want all of the symbols on the
selected pages to be enlarged until they completely fill the available symbol properties.
Symbol Type - Use the Symbol Type pull-down menu if you want all of the symbols on the
selected pages to be replaced with corresponding symbols from another symbol set. This pull-
down menu features five choices: DynaSyms Classic, DynaSyms, PCS, System Symbols and None.
When a new selection is made with this pull-down menu, the Symbol Type check box will be
automatically selected.
Label Location - Use the Label Location pull-down menu to modify the placement of button
labels on the selected pages. Labels can be placed at the top or bottom of buttons. When a new
selection is made with this pull-down menu, the Label Location check box will be automatically
selected.
Change Behaviors From - Use the Change Behaviors From pull-down menu to modify the behavior
of the buttons on the selected pages. This pull-down menu provides two options: Insert to Speak
and Speak to Insert. When a new selection is made with this pull-down menu, the Change
Behaviors From check box will be automatically selected.
