Customizing a Skeleton Page
When the main page of your chosen skeleton page set opens, you can start customizing the skeleton
pages by following these steps (these steps do not require the use of the advanced editing tools):
Note: Skeleton pages are not template copies. Remember that saving changes to the skeleton pages
will permanently alter the original skeleton pages.
1. Select the green Modify button in the title bar at the top of the touch screen. Once
selected, the button will turn red.
2. Select the first button you want to customize. The Modify Button menu will open.
3. Use the options in the Modify Button menu to customize the selected button. Refer to the
Modify Button steps in Section 5 of this Quick Start to learn more about using the Modify
Button menu options.
4. When the button has been customized, select the OK button to save changes and close
the Modify Button menu. This will permanently save your changes to the skeleton page.
5. Continue to fill buttons by selecting the Modify button and then using the features of the
Modify Button menu.
If you want to change the appearance of your selected set of skeleton pages, you can use the Modify
Pages menu (see Section 5 in this Quick Start for more information) to modify several pages at one time.
Changes to the selected skeleton page will be saved under the page’s original name in the Skeleton Page
Sets folder in the Page Navigator menu. To learn about moving the page to another folder or changing its
name, please refer to the DynaVox Series 4 Searchable Help on the CD that came with your DV4/MT4.
