This section describes how to operate the UPS.
NOTE 1 Before starting the UPS, ensure all installation tasks are complete and a preliminary
startup has been performed by authorized service personnel. The preliminary startup
verifies all electrical interconnections to ensure the installation was successful and the
system operates properly.
NOTE 2 Read this section of the manual and have thorough knowledge of UPS operation before
attempting to operate any of the controls.

The controls and indicators identified and described in this section are used to set up, control, and monitor UPS
operation. Figure 47 shows the control panel location on the front door of the UPS. For a description of the UPS
