Chapter 6 UPS Operating Instructions
This section describes how to operate the UPS.
6.1 UPS Controls and Indicators
The controls and indicators identified and described in this section are used to set up, control, and monitor UPS
operation. Figure 6-1 shows the control panel location on the front door of the UPS. Figure 6-2 and Figure 6-3
show the UPS breakers.

NOTE 1 Before starting the UPS, ensure all installation tasks are complete and a preliminary
startup has been performed by authorized service personnel. The preliminary
startup verifies all electrical interconnections to ensure the installation was
successful and the system operates properly.
NOTE 2 Read this section of the manual and have thorough knowledge of UPS operation
before attempting to operate any of the controls.
