6. Repeat Step 3 through Step 5 for each battery shelf (see Figure 4-23) to complete the battery string
connections.
7. Reinstall the internal safety shield panel removed in Step 2.
8. Close the outside door and secure the latch.

9E–60/40 and Eaton 9E–60/60 models have battery strings installed on four shelves.
