6.1.1 Control Panel
The control panel is used to set up and control the UPS, and to monitor UPS operation. For a description of the
UPS control panel functions, see paragraph 6.2.
6.1.2 Circuit Breakers

Input Circuit Breaker – The Input circuit breaker is used to control the AC input to the UPS rectifier.

Bypass Circuit Breaker – The Bypass circuit breaker, as part of the optional maintenance bypass, is used to
control the AC input to the UPS bypass for dual-feed systems.

Output Circuit Breaker – The Output circuit breaker, as part of the optional maintenance bypass, is used to
control the AC output from the UPS inverter.

Maintenance Bypass Breaker – The Maintenance Bypass breaker, as part of the optional maintenance
bypass, is used to partially isolate the UPS so that a limited number of components can be serviced without
interrupting power to critical systems.
