Easy-Start ES Instruction Manual

Congratulations! You have purchased one of the most
sophisticated Solid State Reduced Voltage Starters in the
industry. Models are available from 45 to 950 Amp applications.
This manual provides a check list, drawings, specifications and
pre-installation information, and the various available options to
help you select the right equipment and properly install your Easy-
Start ES Reduced Voltage Starter.
To assure successful installation, thoroughly read and understand
the material presented in each section before you attempt to
install the drive. If this is your first installation, we suggest that you
read each section in the sequence they are presented since they
assume you know the material presented previously. Once you
are an experienced installer, you can use the manual as a source
of reference.
Easy-Start ES Solid State Reduce Voltage Starters are designed
to provide reduced voltage starting of three phase motors. The
Easy-Start ES has standard features which can be adjusted to
tailor your starterÕs performance to suit your needs.
