Magnum trip units and communication devices
Digitrip 1150+
The Digitrip 1150+ trip unit
offers advanced protection
and power monitoring
including harmonics,
breaker health, waveform
capture, and advanced
communications options.
It eliminates the need for
separate metering packages
which saves cost, space and
installation effort. Extensive
operational information is
available across the INCOM
communications for increased
remote monitoring and control
capability. The Digitrip 1150+
includes the Eaton's Arc-
ash Reduction Maintenance
System (ARMS). For a
complete discussion of Digitrip
1150+ Trip Unit capabilities,

Functions and Data
ote:N The Digitrip 1150+
family of trip units incorporates
two microprocessors in their
design. One processor is devoted
fully to the task of current
protection functions. The second
microprocessor provides the
voltage protection, display,
communications, metering,
harmonic calculations, alarming,
and auxiliary relay functions.
These advanced features and the
communications capability require
that auxiliary power be provided by
the customer to the circuit breaker
Power Relay Module.
