Technical data for usual service conditions (0°C to 40°C)

Ambient temperatures & thermal derating tables
Magnum breakers are tested and fully rated for use in
ambient temperatures from 0°C to 40°C. Thermal de-rating
tables are provided for different Magnum breakers operating in
switchboards at various ambient temperatures above 40°C.
The switchboard’s ambient should be estimated using an
industry accepted calculation method.
