Load Segments (PowerShare)
Each UPS has programmable outlets as shown in Figure 22 through
Figure 24. During a power outage, you can keep key pieces of equipment
running while you turn off other equipment. It is preferable to connect
the non-priority loads to the programmable receptacles,

. This
feature allows you to save battery power. See your power management
software manual for details (refer to www.eaton.com/powerquality for
the latest information).
NOTE If power management software is not used, the individual load segments cannot be
controlled.
