2.0 Installation
2.1 Environment
1. The UPS should be installed in a controlled environment. A controlled environment is one
that is indoor, temperature controlled, free from conductive contaminants, dust, fumes and
moisture.
The UPS is intended for indoor use only.
Provide adequate ventilation, 100 mm clearance at the rear of the UPS and 50 mm on the
sides of the UPS.
The unit must have unrestricted airflow.
To maximise the battery life, an ambient temperature of 15

C to 25

C is recommended.
