7.8.1. Serial port settings
The device has been equipped with RS-232 serial port to enable obtaining additional
information. To make use of this link it is required to enable checkbox RS232 and
define its parameters. For this purpose select parameters from the below table:

The selected parameters shall correspond to RS-232 port settings in device, with
which the transmitter is to cooperate.
If RS232 checkbox will not be enabled, data to the Event monitor will be sent on
device’s serial port. With this setting, GD-PROG cable can be used to observe device
state using GPRS transmitters configurator application and Monitor option described
in point 7.11.
