Criteria for lines failure detection for calls to the monitoring stations,
for GPRS / SMS failure is determined by the current state of connection
to the server.
II. After selecting the line transmission is performed:
a. For PSTN and GSM control panel obtains direct access to the
transmission circuit of PSTN or GSM.
b. For GPRS / SMS data are received and cached in memory of
transmitter, control panel receives a positive confirmation of
transmission. Immediately after the transmitter relays data via GPRS /
SMS.
III. Control panel gets a busy signal when:
a. Prefix code was not used at given moment and failure occurred for all
defined routes.
b. Prefix code was used and the chosen route is broken.
IV. If the transmission for the selected line: PSTN or GSM fails (a missed call, no
acknowledgment of transmission) error counter is incremented for the line.
7.9.1.3. Criteria for lines failure detection for calls to the monitoring
stations
This function determines the conditions under which the line should be considered
as defective, and after what time attempt to re-use the line. It is possible to
determine the conditions for the PSTN and GSM lines. Configuration is to set the
following:
o Number of failed connection attempts by the control panel - after how many
unsuccessful attempts recognize the line as defective
o Attempt to return to the line after a time - the time from the moment a fault
occurs until the line can be reused
o PSTN line failure detection time - voltage drop on the phone line for a period
lasting longer than a defined minimum amount of time will be considered a
failure of PSTN line
7.9.1.4. Allow incoming PSTN calls
If you want to allow incoming PSTN calls to the control panel (terminals T1-R1) with
a PSTN line select this option.
7.9.1.5. Allow outgoing connections to PSTN
Select this option to allow outgoing PSTN calls from the control panel (terminals T1-
R1) to phone numbers other than the numbers of the monitoring station.
7.9.1.6. Report off-hook condition
If a phone set is connected in parallel output of control panel communicator (to
terminals T1-R1 of transmitter), picking up of a phone prevent from exchange of
data between an control panel and a transmitter. There is possibility to control this
