9.2 Replacement of the overflow ball valve

1.
Dismantle the MFV as described in
Ä Chapter 9 ‘Maintenance’ on page 32.
2. Remove ball (4) (turn the MFV over and the ball will roll out).
3. Remove valve cage (1).
4. Remove retaining ring (5) and the O-ring seals (2 and 3).
5. W
et the O-ring seal (3) using a suitable lubricant and position it in the seat of the
MFV.
6. Press the retaining ring (5) into the MFV as shown in the detailed drawing.
7. Insert the ball seat O-ring seal (2).
8. Install the valve cage (1).
9. Insert the ball into the valve cage.
10.
Reassemble the MFV as described in
Ä Chapter 9 ‘Maintenance’ on page 32.
