Setting up a custom sensor (non-EAS):
1 Enter the EAS Settings Menu.
2 Select your Universal Sensor Module (NOTE: The serial number
should match the unit that is connected to the sensor you would like to
congure).
3 Select the channel that you
connected your sensor to, either A
or B.
4 Select Name to give your sensor
a name (optional).
5 Select Description to give your
sensor a description (optional).
6 Select Display Units to dene
your sensor’s display units.
7 Select Scaling and then Custom
Scaling.
8 From this screen you’ll be
able to add as many data points
necessary to scale your sensor. This
information should be provided by
the sensor manufacturer. If it’s a resistive based sensor, you can toggle
from Voltage to Resistance. Doing this will allow you to also select the
pull up resistor value, 1K or 10K.
9 Once you’ve added all of the data
points to the scaling you can then
save all of your sensor’s settings.
10 When in the Gauges mode, you’ll
be able to apply that sensor to any
gauge using the Gauge Editor Menu.
