6 Guidance for Initial Delivery
1. Check the packing list to account for all items received.
2. Inspect each item for damage.
3. Record any visible damage or shortages on the delivery record.
If any units have visible signs of damage:
File a claim with the carrier.
Notify your ES-12B meter supplier immediately.
Provide a picture of any damage.
Do not accept any shipment that has evidence of mishandling in transit without making an
immediate inspection of the package for damage. All new meters should be checked for external
damage soon after arrival. If any problems or damage should occur during transit, installation or
initial operation of the meters, please notify your ES-12B meter supplier immediately.
Do not attempt to apply repairs or modifications to the meter, as doing so will be a basis for voiding
all claims for warranty.
When reporting a suspected problem, please provide the following information:
Your Purchase Order Number
The Meter Manufacturer, Meter Model and Serial Number found etched on the meter.
A Description of the problem with any supporting pictures.
Site information such as install date (if installed), remarks on installation environment etc.
Troubleshooting instructions for install are provided at the end of this document (section 11).
Further guidance for troubleshooting should be directed to your support centre.
All returns should be packaged in the original boxes and pallet structure if available, in order to
ensure that the product has the sufficient protection during transit.
