Cause The serial enable line is not acve.

Remedy Refer to Flashing servic

Fault The red alarm LED is on
Cause The red alarm LED is on is normal during the soware upgrade process.
At other mes, if the red alarm LED is on it shows a problem is detected in the
FLASH memory.
Remedy If soware is upgrading, complete the upgrade process.
If the red alarm LED is on at other mes:
▪ restart the system
▪ upgrade the soware (if restarng the system does not correct the fault) .

Remedy Note the posion of the long ashes in the series of 6 ashes to nd the error
code.
Refer to Flashing error codes on page 88 and obey the instrucons.

8.1 Flashing service codes
When a service is necessary, the standard once per revoluon ash on the yellow status
LED is changed to a service ash code. Refer to Table: Flashing service codes for the
service ash codes.
