FusesSubstitution
Beforesubstitutingthefuse,disconnecttheunitfromthemainssystem
Only use fuse of the kind 5x20; they must have those characteristics:
T3.15A (slow) (230Vac mains voltage), T6.3A (115Vac mains voltage),
proceedasfollows:
(A‐B)Extractthefuseholderdrawerfromthepowermodule.
(C)Insertthefusesmakingre
ferencetothefollowingchart:
MainsVoltage 110‐120V DelayedFuseT6,3AL,250V/5x20mm
MainsVoltage 220‐240V DelayedFuseT3,15AL,250V/5x20mm
(D)Extractandrotatethedetachablepartinwaytoreadthe
correctvoltageinthe(E)window–reinsertthefuseholderinthe
module.


Each time the use of the electrosurgicalequipment is planned a checkof
the most important safety aspects has to be implemented considering at
leastthefollowing
:
 Checktheintegrityofcords,connections,wiresbreakage,etc.
 Assurethatalltheelectricalequipmentisproperlygrounded.
 Assurethatalltheaccessoriesthatshouldbeusedareavailableand
sterilized.
