12 Troubleshooting Tables

PROBLEM PROBABLE CAUSE REMEDY

Models 876RH and 876BRH Only

(Refrigerated Hopper-RH)

1. Insufficient supply of mix. 1. Fill hopper at least 1/3 full – keep

hopper this full at all times.

2. Improper mixing of product. Brix too low. 2. Follow mixing instructions on product

label. See Section 10.2, Adjusting

Product Consistency.

3. Worn blades. 3. Replace blades.

4. Freezer not level. 4. Level freezer.

Freezer

vibrates.

5. Low on refrigerant. 5. Contact your Electro Freeze Distributor

for service

1. Dirty or blocked condenser, restricted air

flow and/or high room temperature.

1. Remove obstruction and/or lower room

temperature. Have condenser cleaned

by your Electro Freeze Distributor.

2. Dispensing too much product too fast. 2. Check freezer capacity rating.

3. Product too warm going into freezer. 3. Precool – DO NOT FREEZE.

Poor or slow

product

recovery.

4. Component failure. 4. Contact your Electro Freeze Distributor

for service

Product in

hopper freezes.

1. Component out of adjustment or

component failure.

1. Contact your Electro Freeze Distributor

for service

1. Product put in hopper was not precooled. 1. Precool product – DO NOT FREEZE. Product
