If your Electro-Voice Speakers have no sound, first check the amplifier by connecting a known working test loudspeaker to its outputs. If there's still no sound, ensure all electronics are on, the signal routing is correct, the source is active, and the volume is turned up. Correct, repair, or replace components as needed. If there is sound from the test loudspeaker, the issue lies in the wiring. Verify you've connected the correct cables to the amplifier. Play something quietly through the amplifier, then connect the test loudspeaker in parallel with the malfunctioning line. If the sound disappears or is very weak, there's likely a short in the line. Use the test loudspeaker to test each connection until you locate and fix the problem, ensuring proper polarity.
