A.2.4 Mechanical safety characteristics, hazards
The appliance does not have sharp edges or protruding parts.
The guards for the moving and live parts are xed to the cab-
inet with screws, to prevent accidental access.
B.1 Transport, handling and storage
B.1.1 Introduction
Transport (i.e. transfer of the machine from one place to anoth-
er) and handling (i.e. transfer inside workplaces) must occur
with the use of special and adequate means.
ATTENTION
Due to their size, the ma-
chines cannot be stacked
on top of each other during
transport, handling and
storage; this eliminates any
risks of loads tipping over
due to stacking.
NOTE
Qualied personnel must:
have specic technical training and experience in
the use of lifting systems;
have knowledge of the safety regulations and ap-
plicable laws in the relevant sector;
have knowledge of the general safety rules;
ensure the use of personal protection equipment
suitable for the type of operation carried out;
be able to recognise and avoid any possible hazard.
B.1.2 Transport: instructions for the carrier
ATTENTION
Do not stand under sus-
pended loads during load-
ing/unloading operations.
Unauthorised personnel
must not enter the work
area.
The weight of the appliance
alone is not sucient to
keep it steady.
