18. USEFUL KEY COMBINATIONS (QUICK KEYS)

SEQUENCER RECORDING
[RECORD] + [PLAY] starts LIVE RECORDING.
[RECORD] + [STOP] activates STEP RECORDING.
[RECORD] + double-press [PLAY] activates/deactivates QUANTIZE LIVE RECORDING.
[NO] + [TRIG] key during LIVE RECORDING clears the trigs from a sequencer track.
[FUNC] + [PTN] (long press) toggles the metronome on/o.
MUTES
[FUNC] + [TRIG] keys mutes/unmutes one or several tracks.
MODES
[FUNC] + [BANK] enters GLOBAL MUTE mode.
[FUNC] + double-press [BANK] enters PATTERN MUTE mode.
[FUNC] + [TRK] enters CHROMATIC mode.
[YES] + [PAGE] activates FILL mode for one pattern cycle.
Press and hold [PAGE] to activate FILL Mode for as long as [PAGE] is held.
Press and hold [PAGE] + [YES], and then release [PAGE] before you release [YES] to latch FILL mode.
Press [PAGE] again to unlatch FILL mode.
CLEAR TRACK/CLEAR PATTERN
[FUNC] + [PLAY] (while in GRID RECORDING mode) clears active track.
[FUNC] + [PLAY] (while in no mode or LIVE RECORDING mode) clears pattern.
RESET PARAMETERS
Press DATA ENTRY knob + [NO] to reset the parameter to the default value.
[PARAMETER] key + [PLAY] to reset all the parameters in the selected parameter page to
default values.
RANDOMIZE PARAMETERS
Press [PARAMETER] key + [YES] to randomize the parameters on that page.
SAMPLE SELECT
[FUNC] + [SRC] accesses the SAMPLE SELECT parameter.
DIRECT SAMPLING
[SAMPLING] + [YES] arms the sampler.
[FUNC] + [SAMPLING] starts sampling.
[FUNC] + [SAMPLING] stop sampling (after it has been started).
[SAMPLING] + [NO] cancels at any stage in the Direct Sampling process.
SAMPLE/SOUND/TRIG PREVIEW
[FUNC] + [YES] (In the SAMPLES menu) previews the highlighted sample.
[FUNC] + [YES] (In the SOUND BROWSER/SOUND MANAGER) previews the highlighted Sound.
[TRIG] + [YES] (In GRID- and STEP RECORDING mode) previews the selected trig.
