18. USEFUL KEY COMBINATIONS (QUICK KEYS)
Use the key combinations below to quickly perform certain tasks.
GENERAL
[FUNC] + [REC] performs a copy command. Action depends on the currently active page or mode.
[FUNC] + [PLAY] performs a clear command. Action depends on the currently active page or mode.
[FUNC] + [STOP] performs a paste command. Action depends on the content that was copied.
TRACK/PATTERN/BANK SELECT
[TRK] + [TRIG 1-8] keys to select an audio track.
[TRK] + [TRIG 9-16] keys to select a MIDI track.
[PTN] + [TRIG 1-16] keys to select a pattern.
[BANK] + [TRIG 9-16] keys to select a bank.
NAMING
[FUNC] + [ARROW] (on the NAMING screen) to choose a letter.
[FUNC] + [NO] (on the NAMING screen) to erase a letter.
SAVING AND RELOADING
[FUNC] + [GLOBAL SETTINGS] saves the active Project.
[FUNC] + [YES] temporary saves the active Pattern.
[FUNC] + [NO] temporary reloads the active Pattern.
[PARAMETER] key + [NO] reloads all parameters on that parameter page from its last saved state.
[TRK] + [TRIG1–8] + [NO] reloads the Sound from its last saved state.
NAVIGATING
[FUNC] + [RIGHT] (In the SAMPLES menu) opens a directory.
[FUNC] + [LEFT] (In the SAMPLES menu) exits a directory and backs one step up in the directory hierarchy.
MENU ACCESS
[FUNC] + [PATTERN MENU] opens the IMPORT/EXPORT menu.
[FUNC] + [TRIG SETTINGS] opens the QUANTIZE menu.
[FUNC] + [FLTR] opens the DELAY menu.
[FUNC] + [AMP] opens the REVERB menu.
[FUNC] + [LFO] opens the MASTER menu.
[FUNC] + [PTN] opens the METRONOME menu.
[FUNC] + [PAGE] opens the pattern/track SCALE menu.
SEQUENCER SETTINGS
[FUNC] + [TEMPO] to tap tempo.
[LEFT/RIGHT] to nudge tempo (when sequencer is playing).
[FUNC] + [LEFT/RIGHT] moves all trigs a whole step, left or right (when in GRID RECORDING mode).
[TRIG] key (hold) + [UP/DOWN], opens the RETRIG menu and turns retrig on and sets the retrig RATE for
the trig (when in GRID RECORDING mode).
[TRIG] key (hold) + [LEFT/RIGHT], opens the MICRO TIMING menu and sets the micro timing for the trig
(when in GRID RECORDING mode).
[FUNC] + [UP]/[DOWN] (In the SCALE menu) sets the TRACK LENGTH in musical increments from 2/16 to
64/64.
