1.

the machine.
Place
them
on the spool base as
illustrated,

Guide
Pole
Pull
the thread
guide
pole
up to
its
highest
position.
Make sure that
each thread
guide
is
located exactly
above
the
respective
spool
pin.

et couvercles
porte-bobines
On
peut
utiliser aussi
bien des bobines de
f
il
domestiques
qu'industrielles.
Pour
les bobines industrielles
utilisez
les c6nes
porte-bobines
(al.
Pour les bobines
de
grand
diamdtre,
placez
le c6ne
porte-bobine
plus
haut
afin
que
la bobine soit
bien maintenue.
Renversez le
c6ne,
si
ndcessaire
(voir
illustrationl.
Placez les bobines
perpen-
dicu
lairement.
4. Les
bobines domestiques s'utilisent
sans c6ne,
mais
avec
le
couvercle {bl.
3. Spool
Holders and Caps
Both
industrial and
domestic type thread spools can
be
used on the machine.
For
industrial spools, use
the spool
holders
(a).
For
spools
with
a
larger
diameter,
place
the spool
holders
higher
up on the spool
pins
or
place
them with the widest
end on top
(see
illustration), so
that the spools can
be
seated
firmly
on the spool
pin
bases.
Place the spools
perpendicu
larly.
4.
When
using
domestic type spools,
remove the spool
holders
and
place
the spool caps
(b)
over the spools of
thread.
