2. Introduction
The Flatpack2 power core consists of a 1U control and distribution panel and a 1U
rectifier shelf. Systems using the Flatpack2 -48V 150A design are ideal for sites
with minimum available floor space. The compact size of this system allows more
space for additional telecom equipment even within the same rack. This system is
mounted in a standard 19” or 23” telecommunications equipment rack. The
standard system configuration accommodates up to four (4) -48VDC Flatpack2 and
Flatpack2 HE rectifiers, providing a total power output of 8kW.
