Visualizing the release
The status of the internal and the external release is shown by 0 for OFF
and 1 for ON.
Example: Voltage constant mode, external release OFF, internal release
ON..
If both releases are available, the high voltage is switched on and the dis-
play shown opposite (voltage constant) is reached.
This parameter is used to define the release source of the external
release.
The following setting options are availabel:
24V-signal:
In this setting the external release responds to the 24V input of the analog
interface (pins 1 and 2 of the plug-type variant or pins 10 and 11 of the ter-
minal variant).
Analog Setpoint:
In this setting the external release responds to the analog setpoint input of
the analog interface.
This function can only be used with activated ext. setpoint.
This setting can be used, if only one analog output is available at a
remote-controlled PLC which controlls both the setpoint setting and the
release of the high voltage via the analog interface.
The switch-on threshold of the high voltage is at 20 % of the setpoint
(corresponding to 2 V at the voltage input or 4 mA at the current input of
the analog interface) and the switch-off threshold is at 10 ’% of the set-
point (corresponding to 1 V at the voltage input or 2 mA at the current
input of the analog interface). In this mode this results in a setting range of
20 - 100 % (6 - 30 kV / voltage constant or 1 - 5 mA / current constant) of
the setpoint.
