After switching on the output voltage, the voltage will rise to its preselected
setpoint within an adjustable period (the ramp time).
Note!
When selecting the setting <0> the output voltage is moved to its setpoint
within the shortest possible time. This time can vary depending on load.
This setting allows the setpoint to be modified only via the keyboard or via
the analog interface. If YES is selected, the generator will accept the set-
point only via the analog interface by way of a control
voltage range 0…10 V or a control current range 0…20 mA. Depending on
operating mode, the setpoint corresponds to the voltage or current default;
see Fig. 3.8.
This parameter allows the user to define the mode of operation of the high
voltage release.
The following setting options are available:
Internal:
With this setting, the high voltage is enabled and disabled only via the Vol-
tage button.
External:
With this setting, the high voltage is enabled and disabled only via the
external release source (see Setting the Parameters Release Source).
Internal + External:
With this function, the enabling and disabling of the high voltage via the
external release source (see Parameters Release Source) (Release
External) and the release via the keyboard (Release Internal) will be lin-
ked as an AND function. As soon as both releases (internal and external)
are available, the high voltage will be enabled. If one release is missing,
the high voltage is switched off.
