6.2 Remove a Terminal Block
Follow these steps to remove a CHARM (Standard), Thermocouple/mV, Address, or Relay
Output Terminal Block.
Prerequisites
Suitable flat-tip screwdriver to unlock the Terminal Block.
Suitable flat-tip screwdriver for the terminal screws.
DANGER
Ensure that no device, such as a CHARM or an Address Plug, is installed in the Terminal
Block to be removed. Removing a Terminal Block with an installed device might damage
Baseplate, Terminal Block, and the installed device.
Procedure
1. Flip down the CHARM labeling component - if one is installed.
2. Disconnect all wires connected to the Terminal Block to be removed.
3. Grip the upper part of the Terminal Block with two fingers.
4. Press down the terminal block release button with a suitable flat-tip screwdriver and
hold it pressed down.

The Terminal Block is unlocked.
5. Pull the Terminal Block out of the baseplate.
6. Release the release button.
