5.3 Local operation
5.3.1 Locking of the configuration mode
The Micropilot can be protected in two ways against unauthorised changing of device data,
numerical values or factory settings:
Function "unlock parameter" (0A4):
A value <> 100 (e.g. 99) must be entered in "unlock parameter" (0A4) in the "diagnostics" (0A)
function group. The lock is shown on the display by the symbol and can be released again either
via the display or by communication.
Hardware lock:
The device is locked by pressing the
O

S
and
F
keys at the same time.
The lock is shown on the display by the symbol and can only be unlocked again via the display
by pressing the
O
,
S
and
F
keys at the same time again. It is not possible to unlock the hardware
by communication. All parameters can de displayed even if the device is locked.
