This function is used to enter the distance from the minimum level to the maximum level
(= span).

Note!
The usable measuring range lies between the upper blocking distance and the probe end.
The values for empty distance "E" and span "F" can be set independently of this.
5.4.13 Function "dist./meas.value" (008)
The distance measured from the reference point to the product surface and the meas. value
calculated with the aid of the empty adjustment are displayed. Check whether the values
correspond to the actual meas. value or the actual distance. The following cases can occur:
• Distance correct – meas. value correct È continue with the next function
"check distance" (051)
• Distance correct – meas. value incorrect È Check "empty calibr." (005)
• Distance incorrect – meas. value incorrect È continue with the next function
"check distance" (051)
