 17 Housing with external locking screw
The locking screw is not tightened when the device is delivered.
1. Release the external locking screw.
2. Turn the housing, align the cable entry.
3. Tighten the external locking screw.

 Is the measuring device undamaged (visual inspection)?
 Does the measuring device conform to the measuring point specifications?
For example:
• Process temperature
• Process pressure
• Ambient temperature range
• Measuring range

Is the measuring device adequately protected against precipitation and direct sunlight?
 Is the device properly secured?
