Supporting probes against warping
For WHG or Ex approval:
For probe lengths ≥ 3 m a support is required (see figure).
For GL/ABS approval:
Rod probes ∅ 16 mm ≤ 1 m permissible, Rod probes ∅ 6 mm not permissible.
For coax probes ≥ 1 m a support is required (see figure).
