5.7.3 Function "range of mapping" (052)
This function displays the suggested range of mapping. The reference point is always the sensor
membrane. This value can be edited by the operator.For manual mapping, the default value is:
0 m.

Caution!
The suppression range must end 0.3 m(1 ft) in front of the echo of the actual level. With an
empty tank, do not enter E but E – 0.3 m.
5.7.4 Function "start mapping" (053)
This function is used to start the interference echo mapping up to the distance given in "range
of mapping" (052).
Selection:
off:no mapping is carried out
on: mapping is started
5.7.5 Function "dist./meas.value" (008)
The distance measured from the reference point to the product surface and the level calculated
with the aid of the empty alignment are displayed again. Check whether the values correspond
to the actual level or the actual distance. The following cases can occur:
Distance correct – level correct -> basic setup completed
Distance incorrect – level incorrect -> a further interference echo mapping must be carried
out "checkdistance"(051).
Distance correct – level incorrect -> check "emptycalibr."(005).
