3.2 Installation conditions
The process display unit is designed to be used in the field.
The orientation is determined by the readability of the display. Cable entries are located on the
bottom of the device.
Operational temperature range:
-40 to +80 °C (-40 to +176 °F)

Caution!
If the device is operated in the upper temperature limit range, this reduces the operating life of
the display.

Note!
The display may react slowly at temperatures below -20 °C (-4 °F).
Readability of the display cannot be guaranteed at temperatures below -30 °C (-22 °F).

3.2.2 Installation location
Information on conditions that must be present at the installation location to mount the device
correctly can be found in Section 'Technical data'. These include the ambient temperature,
degree of protection, climate class etc.
3.3 Mounting instructions
The device can be mounted directly on the wall. A mounting bracket is available for pipe
mounting (→ å 5). The illuminated display can be mounted in four different positions
(→ å 3).
