Why is the laser power low on my Endress+Hauser Measuring Instruments?
    • J
      Jose MclaughlinAug 26, 2025
If you're experiencing low laser power with your Endress+Hauser Measuring Instruments, it could be due to a low signal in the Raman spectra. Check the Laser Power diagnostic; the laser power should register within 10 mW of the laser power setpoint. Also, if the laser diode current reaches 80% of its current limit, Raman RunTime will provide a warning and recommends service of the laser module. If it reaches 90% of its limit, it will show an error. When the laser diode current reaches its limit, the laser is in a failure state and laser power gradually starts decreasing.
