15.4 Supported units
The process display unit can be configured in such a way that the unit code which is sent
from the slave in response to the universal command no. 3, is displayed as text, as listed in
the following table (HCF-SPEC 183).
However, since the field available for the unit is limited in the process indicator to a 5-
digit, 14-segment display, it is not possible to display all units completely. Therefore, some
units are displayed as unit codes in the form of UCxxx, where xxx is the unit code number.
In addition, the operating parameter TEXT can be used to create and display an individual
unit text.
