Replacing face seals
Applies to hydraulic connectors on quick
couplers.
1. Remove the existing face seal with the
aid of a sharp tool.
2. Carefully install the new face seal by
hand.
REMARKS
Install the tapered
face seal with a
narrow edge outward.

Torque tightening is essential for the strength of some bolted joints.
Bolts and threaded holes must be thoroughly clean.
