Attaching Paper to the Rewinder
Follow the steps below to attach paper to the rewinder.
A
While squeezing the tabs of the rewinder
ange,
remove the
ange
from the rotating
sha.
B
Press the (feed) button until about 800 mm {31.50 in.} of paper comes out of the printer.
C
Pass the paper through the rewinder as shown in the
gure
below.
Note
Depending on the thickness and stiness of the paper, the rewinder may not wind the paper
correctly.
D
Fix the leading edge of the paper to the winding core or insert it into the gap in the rotating sha.
❏ When using the winding core
Align the side edge of the paper with that of the core, and secure the leading edge of the paper to the
core with tape. en, rotate the rewinder ange about 2 times to take up the slack in paper.
