Remove the air filter.
Remove the air filter by placing your finger into the groove as
shown in the following illustration.

With the front of the air filter facing down, tap it four
or five times to shake off the dust.
Turn it over and tap the other side in the same way to shake off the
dust.

Remove any dust remaining on the air filter by using
a vacuum cleaner to clean the front.

Insert the air filter back into the air filter cover.
Insert the projections on the air filter into the holes in the cover, and
press it firmly into place.

Attention
If the air filter is hit too hard, it may become unusable due to
deformities and cracks.
