Replacing the Air Filter
f Air filter replacement period
It is time to replace the air filter when:
• The air filter has been turned brown.
• The message is displayed even though the air filter has been
cleaned.
f How to replace the air filter
The air filter can be replaced even when the projector is suspended from a
ceiling.
A
Remove the air filter cover.
Grip the air filter cover tab between your fingers and pull it straight
out.

Remove the air filter.
Remove the air filter by placing your finger into the groove as
shown in the following illustration.

Insert the new air filter into the air filter cover.
Insert the projections on the air filter into the holes in the cover, and
press it firmly into place.
