5. If you are running the display and rendering screen on the
same monitor, select Single Monitor.
Configuring AutoDesk 3D Studio
Before you can use 3D Studio, you’ll need to edit the 3DS.SET
file in your 3DS directory. Follow these steps:
1. Make a copy of the original 3DS.SET file and name the copy
3DS.OLD.
2. Use a text editor or word processing program that can save a
file in ASCII format to edit the 3DS.SET file.
3. Remove the semicolon in front of the DEFAULT-DISPLAY
line and change the text to the following:
DEFAULT-DISPLAY=RCPADI
4. Remove the semicolon in front of the MAIN-DISPLAY line
and change the text to the following:
MAIN-DISPLAY=RCPADI
5. If you selected the 256 color driver, remove the semicolon in
front of the MATERIAL-DISPLAY line and change the text
to the following:
MATERIAL-DISPLAY=RCPADI
6. Save this file as an ASCII file.
