Leave the cartridge sealed until just before you install it.
Follow these steps to install the ink cartridge:

Turn on the printer. After the printer performs some
initializing procedures, the
PAUSE
light comes on and the
DATA
and
PAPER OUT
lights begin blinking.

Open the printer cover.
