6.3 Cleaning
Be sure to check the following items when servicing the printer, and clean the printer
as necessary.
Item Platen’s surface
Point to be checked 1. Is there any paper dust or foreign matter on it?
2. Is there any ink adhered to it?
Remedy 1. Clean it off with a brush or OA cleaner.
2. Wipe it off with a damped cloth, and then wipe with a clean,
dry cloth.

Item Paper feed path
Point to be checked Has any paper dust been accumulated?
Remedy Clean it off with a brush or OA cleaner.
Item ASF PF roller / Separation pad
Point to be checked Has any paper dust been accumulated?
Remedy Clean it off with a clean, dry cloth.
