This chapter describes features of the product.
Features
Printing
• Liner-free label paper is supported.
• High speed label printing, up to 170 mm/s, is possible.
• 3 widths of roll paper; 40, 58, and 80 mm, are supported by attaching or detaching the roll paper guides.
• By using the "Batch rotate print (Upside Down)" function, you can print pages upside down to make it easier
to read the pages when they are ejected from the front side of the printer.
• Supports a variety of language (ANK (includes Thai language)/Japanese/Simplified Chinese/Traditional
Chinese/Korean)
Handling
• Can be installed vertically or horizontally.
• Easy drop-in paper loading.
• Automatically switches between valid interfaces and supports printing from multiple interfaces.
• Equipped with a paper removal detector which enables the printer to advance paper after detecting removal
of printed paper.
• Ethernet, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi connection status can be easily checked by viewing respective LED lights.
• Equipped with three USB Type-A ports for connecting the option devices. (Device Charging model/
Bluetooth model)
• The USB port for connecting a tablet computer; USB-A - Device Charging, can provide up to 2.1A. (Device
Charging model/Bluetooth model)
Software
• TM-Intelligent function is equipped.
• Supports server direct print function that automatically acquires print data from a Web server, and
notifies print results to the server.
• Supports status notification function, which enables the printer to send its status to a web server at a
regular interval.
• NFC tag built into the printer unit for printing to a connected printer.
• Printing triggered by bar code scan by smart device camera.
• A utility for iOS/Android™ (Epson TM Utility) for making printer settings is provided.
• Printing of various types of bar codes, GS1-DataBar, and two-dimensional symbols (PDF417, QR code,
MaxiCode, Composite Symbology, Aztec Code, DataMatrix) is supported.
• A maintenance counter function is supported.
