• The test specimen is connected via the VIO 3 electrosurgical unit to the
power supply.
• The argon gas bottle is connected to the test specimen.
• The dual-pedal footswitch with ReMode is connected.
•
The FiAPC test adapter is connected to the APC socket. The gas output of
the test adapter is connected to the gas flow meter via the APC test hose
• The return electrode patient cable is connected to the return electrode
socket using the short-circuited return electrode adapter cable.
Test procedure
1. Set the test specimen to:
APC probe, monopolar – forcedAPC – Effect 0.1
2. Call up the bottle fill level window. To do so, press <Argon flow l/min>
in the "Effect Setting" window.
3. Set the first target flow value to 0.5 l/min.
